Edit a title

You can customise the titles drop down which appears when adding customers.  This is useful if you've made a mistake/spelling mistake in a title i.e. Lird instead of Lord.

Note: If you edit a title that has already been used against a customer you will be updating the customer's details too.  For example, if you have a customer called Mr John Smith and you change the title in settings to Mrs then John's record will also be updated.

  1. Click on the settings icon in the top right corner and click System settings



  2. In the list of general settings click on Titles



  3. You will see a form on the left hand side and a list of existing titles on the right hand side. Click Edit next to the title you wish to change



  4. You will see a page where you can edit the information with a space to name the title. Change this information as required and click Save title
